Current Project : Monstrous Body
Monstrous Body is the fifth work in a series of architecturally developed performance projects. Our aim is to invoke a labyrinth, a maze, in which a roaming-audience loses itself in a spatial disorientation and intoxication. Like torn flags whipped about in the wind, performer, audience and set are swept along by forces over which they have little control.

Tabernacle
Tabernacle Is an ingenious maze of shifting panels; beautiful and disruptive, it oscillates between wild frenetic movements and patterns to static regular and irregular shapes. Inside the large mobile maze the audience is lost and surprised at every turn. Strange deformed shadows move across the fabric that glows blood-red, foot-steps are heard, someone or something is coming, darkness falls, another opening another scene.

Lifting, leaning, falling, balancing, delicately crushing, exploding, an architecture of macrophages entering the bloodstream, hunting, devouring trillions. A cardboard environment comprised of huge monolithic elements, a variable living architecture, an active landscape performs to and around the audience. The monolithic elements are manipulated into walls, passageways, caverns and city-like agglomerations; they slide, drop, are erected, turned or leaned, mimicking the fly-through effects viewed by designer Horst Kiechle in a VRML (virtual reality modelling language) environment.

The Gravity of the Situation
In the same vein as In the House of Skin, only this time working with a much lighter material (cardboard), Gravity Feed put on another high energy performance. The main element of this work is a large mobile cube with multiple variables: sides that spin and collapse, a roof that swings down, a magicians box in which performers and things seem to disappear, panels composed of a number of layers of cardboard, the source of illumination.

In the House of Skin
Gravity Feed's first major work and the one that put it on the map for many Sydneysiders. It has power, force, it comes at an audience with teeth bared. Masculinity bulging with its own energy, sweat, fucking-hard work, pounding, leaping, jumping, spinning, shattering, bursting out of the house of skin. Death, as always, is at the centre, leaping up with its own vitality animating the inanimate, breathing life into all those who feel its touch.
